Please join us for a FUNDRAISE DINNER at The Hungry Buddha on Thursday 17th September

The magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck central Nepal on 25 April 2015, and its many aftershocks, have killed more than 8,800, injured more than 23,000. Up to 8 million have been affected with 1.4 million people requiring food aid. Damage is widespread, with some villages completely destroyed.

Extensive damage means that schools, health posts and community water supplies all need to be rebuilt as quickly as possible. You can help Himalayan Development Foundation Australia to reconstruct these using earthquake-resistant building techniques.

You’re invited to a FUNDRAISE DINNER at The Hungry Buddha where we will be sampling excellent Nepalese cuisine.

On the night we will show a short presentation about the project and trekking in Nepal in general. We will also discuss ways you can be involved in volunteering or assist in securing a brighter future for Nepal’s children.

The Hungry Buddha will serve us a Banquet Menu including wine, soft drinks and Nepalese tea.
