63 years ago on the 29th of May 1953 the 1st ascent of Mt Everest was made by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay

The Himalayan Development Foundation Australia invites you to celebrate the Anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest. It is a night to celebrate the first ascent of the Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. HDFA Chairman Duncan Chessell will be there to give us all an update on progress on the projects including two short films 4 minutes each featuring HDFA Project work.

Tickets cost $80 and include a wonderful three course banquet and wine.
