Every donation goes straight to impact — into classrooms, health posts, training, farming, microenterprise and community leadership programs.
HDFA is a small Australian charity with a lean, volunteer-led structure. That means more of your support goes exactly where it’s needed: into remote Himalayan communities working hard to build a better future for their children.
Your donation helps strengthen teaching, improve school facilities, provide basic health care, support women and farmers, and build local leadership so communities can eventually run everything themselves.
HDFA is officially registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and is an approved developing-country relief fund. All donations are fully tax-deductible for Australian residents.
When you give, you’re not funding overhead — you’re fuelling opportunity, stability and learning in the hardest-to-reach valleys of Nepal.
*HDFA uses the ‘Shout for Good’ platform to handle donations, which is run by ANZ bank. 100% of your donation goes to us, thanks to ANZ, which charges absolutely no fees for using the portal.
The Himalayan 100 is HDFA’s high-commitment giving circle — a group of 100 supporters who provide the stable, flexible funding that keeps HDFA’s work alive. These supporters don’t just back one project.
They power the engine room:
This core support is what allows HDFA to work deeply, stay the course, and keep showing up for the hardest-to-reach communities in Nepal.
The Himalayan 100 is simple:
100 people. $100 a month. Meaningful, reliable impact.
